My day started off with quite the surprise. Pete came in and asked if I would like to work for them after my internship. He told me I would pretty much start in the Winter because the ice rink is closed in the summer because they are missing a wall in one end and have no H VAC system, so the ice can stay cold. I did not give an answer at the time because it is a big commitment to make for a job thats barely over minimum wage, and I would have to move to take the job. I am going to talk to my parents about it and what they think I should do. It sounds like a very fun job and if I take it I could use it to make my resume that much stronger. This made my week to think I have made such a positive impression with some of the staff.
The next part was another preparation for another Camp Fearless. Since I thought a lot of the activities were out-of-date the last time, I decided to create my own gammes after researching some good team building activities on the website. This was something I also enjoyed because I felt as if I were helping them use more up-to-date games that the kids would enjoy.
